Using Idle
Idle is provided to help users identify and manage recurring subscriptions. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter manually and for reviewing any subscription information detected by the service.
Gmail connection
Connecting Gmail is optional. If you connect Gmail, you authorize Idle to use the permissions you approve through Google's consent screen for the subscription-detection feature. You should only connect a Gmail account you are authorized to use.
Cancellation links and instructions
Idle may provide links or instructions intended to help you reach a third-party subscription-management page. Idle does not guarantee that a link will remain current or that following it will cancel a subscription. The final cancellation is completed with the third-party provider and remains your responsibility.
No financial guarantee
Amounts, renewal dates, potential savings, and subscription classifications may be incomplete or inaccurate. You should verify important billing information directly with the relevant provider or financial institution.
Third-party services
Idle depends on third-party services including Google and Supabase. Their own terms, availability, and privacy practices may apply when you use those services through Idle.
Acceptable use
You may not use Idle to access another person's account without authorization, interfere with the service, attempt to obtain server secrets or other users' data, or use the service unlawfully.
Changes and availability
Idle is currently under active development. Features may change, become unavailable, or be discontinued. These terms may also be updated as the service develops.
